            List of Colleges in Lagos StateSpecial ProgrammesHIV\ AIDs PreventionIn order to prevent the scourge of HIV\AIDS amongst our youths and the society, the Ministry in conjunction with TV Boogie show organized a programme for the adolescents and youths in the State Schools tagged “Jam Feast” whereby Students use Dance, Drama, Mimes, Songs and other literary methods to spread the message of preventing the pandemic. This is to ensure that the future labour force is preserved. Lagos State Government Education Management System (LASGEMS)The State Government under the Administration of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola commenced the Student data Management project of the former administration tagged LASGEMS. The objective of this project is to have the overall data of all Students in both Public and Private Schools in Lagos State which can be accessed online.
The Ministry of Education and the Consultant of LASGEMS have held various workshops and training for the Principals and Head teachers of all Schools on the importance of LASGEMS in the State Educational System and on how to fill and collate the data of all Students. Other relevant features of LASGEMS that will be integrated into the Education System includes; Curriculum Management, Student Performance management (Continuous Assessment Scores), Disciplinary Administration, Contact management, on-line enquiries, Examination Planning and Management.
