ACADEMIC PATTERN

INTRODUCTION

The academic programmes of Lagos State University (LASU) are designed in line with and to achieve the Vision and Mission of the University.

The University runs two main categories of academic programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate.  The undergraduate programmes are made up sub-degree or diploma and bachelor’s programmes.  The postgraduate programmes run under the auspices of the Postgraduate School and are made up of postgraduate diploma (PGD), Masters and doctoral programmes. A very fast growing University Library supports these programmes.

The academic programmes of the University are run in the Departments of the College, Faculties, and Schools, and in Institutes and Centres situated in different campuses of the University

The tables give the academic structure and the campuses in which they are housed respectively, while the others gives the list of academic programmes and their NUC accreditation status as at Nov. 2005.
